The Summer of 2020

What can one say? The summer of 2020 was surreal, confusing, hot, and filled with just so many shades of gray and constant media overload.

Thankfully for us at 260 Main, there were many bright spots during this mercurial summer, the most glorious, the wedding of my daughter Olivia & her husband Jason. It was a perfect day and the intimate celebration only served to reinforce and make more precious the occasion. We did our best to adapt to our new reality, and other than the absence of many dear friends, it was all we could have hoped for.

Everyday we navigate life with the threat of a mysterious enemy. We continue to do our best with the latest information we have and soldier on in our everyday life; discovering new ways to work, learn, & socialize.

Now more than ever, home, both inside and out, has become our refuge, our focus, and crucial to our well being. We our spending most of our time in our homes working, learning, & reflecting. I realize during this summer just how lucky I am to live in a place where I can spend time outdoors with open green space and fresh air and retreat back into a lovely old home. It has been my sanctuary during this Summer of 2020.

I am truly hoping that this note finds you and yours doing well. If there is anything you might need help with to make your home a haven, I would be honored to help.

Take care,

Robin

P.S.: Note that Olivia is wearing my 35 year old wedding dress, how sweet is that!
